Allison Sampson

In June 2023, Allison wrapped up 15 months as the Santa Monica Conservancy’s first co-Executive Director. Allison is currently Vice President of the Colburn Foundation Board of Directors and its Executive Director. In May 2022, Allison retired after six years as Vice President and Executive Director for Emerson College’s campus in Los Angeles. She was previously the Senior Vice President of The Colburn School from 2010-2016. From 1993 to 2010 she was president of her own management consulting firm with over one hundred clients in government, social service, advocacy, philanthropy, and the arts sectors. With a background in banking and lending, Allison has more than 30 years of business experience in Los Angeles’ non-profit sector. Prior to her move to the nonprofit sector, she was a banker with Bank of America.
